The cubs will be exploring aircraft of all different sorts.

15 January

Exploring our City

This session will focus on using maps to explore "our fine city"

We will identify where we can find the various emergency services and explore the rich history of Norwich

22 January  

Emergency Aid

We will be exploring how to respond to emergency situations.

Including how to deal with asthma attacks, unconcious but breathing patients & how to keep ourselves safe in emergency situations

29 January

More Emergency Aid

In this weeks session we will taking the skills we learnt last week to the next level.

We will complete the emergency aid level 2 badge.

How to call for help, reassure a patient, deal with major bleeding, burns and scalds and what to say when calling 999

5 February

Build A Bird House

Tonight, The cubs will work in the sixes to build and decoarate a bird or bug house.

Spring is approaching and natural habitats are shrinking.

We will all do our bit to help our wildlife thrive and hopefully recover.

12 February

Finishing our Bird Houses

We continue our DIY bird house or bug hotel builds.

Once we are all finished we will look for the perfect place to locate our masterpieces.

Over the coming weeks and months we will hopefully have new visitors to the cub hut.

Knot Rope Trails

This week the cubs will explore rope trails.

Working together in teams to recall various items

We will also practice the knots we have already learnt

Living With Animals

We explore elements of 2 badges this week.

Animal Carer & Naturalist

If you already own a pet or farm animal this is the session for you.

If not we will learn how we can care for local wildlfe

12 March

Roots in Mousehold

An evening away from the headquarters.

We will take a walk to Mousehold Heath to explore the natural landscape and begin to explore the variety of wildlife right here on our doorstep

19 March 

Nature Walk

A recap of the previous session as well as learning the countryside code.

Exploring the imapct that our actions have on the natural world

26 March 

Wacky Races

Our final session of the term sees the cubs taking part in fun and games all based around Easter

We will explore what Easter is, its history, why we celebrate.

Finishing off with a good old fashioned egg hunt.
